Andy has changed my body, my mind and my confidence. Having worked with another personal trainer prior, I was happy with the results but something was missing in the client/trainer relationship. Enter COVID and the 1st lockdown. It was easy for me to reprioritize training and myself to focus on homeschooling, cleaning or just barely managing to get through the day - once again, I took a backseat to everyone else… again.
I have been working with Andy since September 2020. He’s done so much to help me incorporate training into my lifestyle. When we went back into lockdowns 2 & 3, we had a plan and have remained committed to the plan.
Andy is a coach and a teacher, not just a personal trainer. As a coach he listens, guides, assists with self discovery & self-awareness. And as a coach he navigates and guides you. As a teacher, he’s taught me about form, strength, mobility, focus, the need for rest and resting the body, and most important how breathing impacts the body, not just the mind. He’s supportive, encouraging and motivating - all the elements coaches & teachers possess. He challenges you out of your comfort zone without pushing you over the edge.

I was suffering from severe lower back pain with aggressive sciatica and minimal back movement which meant I could hardly walk and found working at a desk nearly impossible.
I joined Andy's class 3 months ago. Andy created a unique training plan to regain lower back movement and mobility and remove all pain. After 3 months of bi-weekly classes I am 85% back to my normal self. I can now go for runs, cycles and swims a lot! I would highly recommend anyone looking to make serious progress to join his classes. If it wasn't for Andy I'm not sure where I would be and more importantly what condition I would be in. He is the most conscientious and focused trainer I have ever come across.

I started working with Andy when I was six weeks postpartum. I wanted to return to my previous fitness levels but was anxious about how best to approach exercise following my pregnancy.
Andy has an excellent knowledge base and after listening to my fitness goals was able to structure a programme to help me meet my goals safely; and that was flexible enough to fit in around my family life. He regularly updated my sessions as my strength and stamina improved, often incorporating exercises that I had previously found difficult to show how much progress I’ve made. He also challenged me with exercises and movements that addressed aches and pains I had been having. Since working with Andy I have almost completely eliminated the sciatic pain I was experiencing and I have gained a level flexibility I hadn’t expected! This has had a big influence not only on my running but also in my day to day life.
Andy’s passion for what he does and his considered approach to fitness is obvious from his well thought out programmes and his enthusiasm and genuine interest in my progress has been a huge motivating factor on my fitness journey. I look forward to my training sessions and always come away having learnt something new.

Initially I wasn't sure if online training would suit me. I thought I might lack the discipline associated with one on one training and in turn the progress and results that come with this type of training. The online plan Andy created however , is bespoke to my goals and habits and changes wekely to prevent me from losing interest in the plan and what I want to achieve. Weekly check-ins with Andy means that my attendance in the gym has increased and it keeps me determined to improve my performance week by week.
